Kat Brandon has spent over 20 years working on the executive leadership team of an Annual Ladies Spiritual Lectureship series. Through her humble spirit and dedicated work ethic she effectively assisted in the management and execution of  these annual events with over 1500 women in attendance. She had a special way of touching the lives of women through her kind and loving nature. In 2002 she met Roxy Hall at one of these events and left an indelible mark on Roxy's life. A few years later, this dynamic duo joined forces and worked together to implement exciting programs in the lives of women for over ten years as a team through the Annual Ladies Lectureship Retreat.

 

In 2012, Roxy pitched her amazing vision to Kat and they decided to take their passion for impacting the lives of women to another level. Through this desire, they SHEnergized their Dreams and SHEnergy was launched in the city of Jacksonville, Florida on  Saturday, January 12, 2013. In the span of one short year, they had aligned with dynamic women entrepreneurs and established 7 SHEnergy chapters in the following cities: Jacksonville, FL, Tallahassee, FL, Fayeteville, NC, Columbia, SC Charlotte, NC, Greensboro, NC, and Valdosta, GA. We recently established another SHEnergy chapter in Miami, Florida. 
 

With very little starting capital and a great deal of vision and passion, SHEnergy has carved out a perfect niche to meet the needs of enterprising women of excellence all over the Southeast. SHEnergy became an official non profit organization earlier this year.
Our programs designed to positively impact people in the areas of education, entrepreneurship, community development and health with a particular emphasis on programs aimed at women. SHEnergy has been implementing programs through our local chapters in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina for the past three years. 

 

In 2015, SHEnergy became an official 501 (c ) 3 organization and also launched an amazing new program. The SHEnergy HBCU College tour was an effort to take the mission of SHEnergy to another level and impact the lives of college women across the country.  It was also  an opportunity to spread the message of building mutually beneficial alliances. Holding our events on the campuses of historically black colleges and universities, helps to bridge the gap and help create needed partnerships between the community and the academic institutions. True SHEnergy(Synergy) in action. We kicked-off this amazing effort in Roxy's home town and at her mother's Alma Mater, Edward Waters College.  The HBCU Tour Event has also been held on the campuses of Allen University in Columbia, Soouth Carolina and Florida Memorial University in Miami, Florida. Our next HBCU Tour event is scheduled in March of 2016 at South Carolina State University.

 

​SHEnergy has worked with the following sponsors over the past few years: River Pointe Behavioral Health, MyEcon Financial Success Company, DR Horton, Lennar Homes, US Army, AVON, Blissful Paper Products, Allen University, Florida Memorial University, The Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce Women's Business Center and Edward Waters College, just to name a few. We are currently partnered with the Southern Christian Leadership Conference and the US Small Business Administration in several national efforts.

In 2020, the focus of SHEnergy expanded as the COVID-19 pandemic spread across the world. We knew that women needed a safe place to connect, so we launched the SHEnergized SisStarhood. Even more women were able to connect to SHEnergy through the virtual component of SHEnergy. Over 100 women join us virtually every Sunday morning for the SHEnergized SisStarhood Labies Bible class.

 

In 2022, we launched our SHEnergized SisStarhood Retreat. The annual retreat is a high energy, motivational, inspirational and self-reflective empowerment experience designed to help women enhance their Optimal Wellness (SHEwellness)!!
